A space for high schoolers to belong, discover Jesus, become like Him and have a blast doing it (usually while playing dodgeball or hanging in the Game Room!). Each month, one Sunday gathering will be a Worship Night, and one night will be Bible Study & Breakfast Wars night…other Sundays, we’ll gather as normal for hang time, message, open EPIC Cafe and small groups.

We meet weekly on Sundays, 4-6:30PM!

First MS EPIC of 2022: August 24.
Last MS EPIC of 2022: December 11.
No EPIC on November 27 (happy Thanksgiving!) or the Sunday after HS Retreat (date TBA).

SLACC is a team of high school leaders who are pursuing Jesus, and want to serve and form lasting connections with the next generation of middle schoolers walking through our doors. Practically, that looks like SLACC Team serving on Wednesday nights for our Middle School gathering: whether that’s through Hype Team, in the Cafe, helping with small groups, or whatever else is needed. SLACC dues are $20 yearly (includes T-Shirt and random events).

Note: serving on SLACC does count for Bright Futures hours! But our heart for SLACC is not that to have a team for middle school crowd control, but a team of leaders learning to follow Jesus (not perfectly but intentionally) who want to help younger students do the same. Because of that, SLACC leaders must be plugged into the life of the HS EPIC community to be part of the team.

The SLACC time commitment on Wednesdays is 5-8:30PM, 2+ Wednesdays per month.

Incoming high schoolers who
– are/will be plugged into the High School EPIC community on Sundays
– wants to grow in your relationship with Jesus
– has a heart for loving & learning to lead younger middle school studnets
– has some free time most Wednesday nights (5-8:30PM)

There’s a SLACC Interest Meeting every fall (this fall, it’s August 10, 6:30-8PM). If you miss that, reach out to Holly directly (holly@boredonsunday.com) so we can fill you in and get you an application!
