Usually, not having enough time is one of students’ biggest struggles in consistently engaging with Scripture. We know right now, your students probably have more free time (or at least flexible time) than normal! Our heart is to empower them to use this time to create a pattern of regularly meeting with God.
To help with that, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays @ 9 AM, we will post short Daily Devotionals (videos from EPIC staff) on our our YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. We will be walking through the book of Colossians together.
On Thursdays, we will engage with the day’s scripture through virtual Guys / Girls Bible Studies at night (more info below).
WORSHIP WEDNESDAY—In addition to Wednesday devotionals, on Wednesday nights, Phil and Casey will lead a few songs of LIVE worship at 9pm, then host a live Q&A. Feel free to join in and ask questions about anything from Faith, Life, Taco Places, or anything else! We want this to be a time where we can worship together and connect. If you’d like to, you can pre-send your questions to Phil at 407-405-1894. Feel free to invite anyone to join!
Bible Studies are still on every Thursday…virtually! Middle AND High school students are are all welcome.
The girls (MS & HS) will meet via Zoom at 4 PM.
The guys (MS & HS) will meet via Discord at 5 PM.
We would love for your student to take a break from school or boredom and join Angel and Holly (girls) or Kris (guys)! Links to both meetings will be sent out via Remind101 and our Parent Newsletter on Thursday mornings.
We have 2 more weeks of Confirmation classes. The last two weeks of Confirmation, we will gather for a shorter period of time over Zoom. We will gather at 10:45 AM; more details have been sent out via email. (Please still have your students read through the week’s Booklet content beforehand!) Email firstname.lastname@example.org ;with any questions.
Church-wide worship services will continue being streamed online. We encourage you not just to watch from home, but worship with your students from home! We often talk about church and EPIC being like a home; now, we believe you have the opportunity to see your home as a church.
To our Parent Newsletter email list, we will be also be sending out discussion questions for the weekend’s message. Feel free to process these personally, encourage your student to engage with them personally or with friends (virtually), or walk through them as a family.
